With regards to the quick-rising cost of goods and services around the world, I'd like to chat to you about my services and their affordability...or un-affordability.
I acknowledge that I have lived and continue to live a privileged life. Whilst I am a woman who has experienced significant trauma, I have not lived the life of someone who has experienced continued systemic oppression and hardship. I want the readings and courses that I offer to be available to those who need it, not just to those who can afford it. If you are in a place where you could really benefit from some guidance via the formats that I offer, but my price points are not within your budget, please don't hesitate to get it touch. I am interested in exploring partial or full bartering, or even paying-it-forward via word of mouth in exchange for a reading. Please get in touch to start a discussion. Love, Ren. My husband and I are currently in the adoption process for a child or a sibling group. It's been A LOT (which I'm sure is preparing us for A LOT MORE!!) and by 'a lot' I mean that we've spent the last two years studying* not only to be parents, but also to be child psychologists, attachment specialists and tantrum-whisperers. During this intense process, you can't help but evaluate your own life as you sympathise and empathise with the stories of birth parents, their children, social workers, foster parents and other adoptive parents. I've fully jumped into the process and have been exploring the deep feelings that have been coming up with regards to my own childhood C-PTSD. Specifically, I'm paying attention to connecting with and soothing my inner child, which is seeking a lot of attention ...understandably so! I'm hoping that by doing this, not only can I help myself love and grow and understand these feelings, but that I can also model self-care and self-love to my child or children-to-be. For example, on days when our intensive** 3-hour-deep-dive meetings have focused on me and my childhood, I've made sure that I've had some soothing Lush bath bombs on hand, as well as simple and nutritious comfort food ready to go, so that I can calm my nervous system, feel safe, loved and present. I was so excited to realise that I was doing the things that I recommend to all my AstroGeo clients! Then I started thinking about how I can cater to my specific Astrological make-up more nuanced way and if that would indeed prove to be a more specialised tool. So here was my thought process: PLANET: MOON. Planet of inner emotions and emotional processing. Inner child. Subconscious. POSITION: SAGITTARIUS. Sign of adventure, curiosity and truth. HOUSE: 1st. House of the body and identity. RESULT: To best support my emotional evolution and explore my inner child, I can experiment with finding the different ways my body feels soothed. Eg. Dry brushing before a hot shower, swimming in the sea on a cold day, playing on a jungle-gym, going for a bike ride just for fun, walking around and exploring a new town... The point is to do give myself permission to try something physically stimulating and different from the usual, just for the fun of it! (I'll let you know how it goes AND I'm so excited to try this in the future with my children-to-be!) If you're up for experimenting with me, here are some suggestions of how you may self-soothe and connect with your inner child: Your Moon is in: ARIES: The Sign of instinct, passion, spontaneity.
